Cute kid in the tub shot. Along with soft focus, so his boyparts aren't on display.

That's a baby kangaroo. Alone. No mother. No father. No wide open spaces. I really really hope it was just having a bad day.
We left the petting zoo after I saw that.

Too sad. Posted by Picasa

Sevvie is such an urban kid

Kid ... kid ... get it?! Ha!

Sigh.

Anyway, we took the boys to Northlands Agricom for the annual pet expo ... besides the extremely forlorn, albeit (thankfully) lethargic grizzly performing for the crowds, the petting zoo was as much animal interaction as we got.

We have, though, decided that we're definately adopting a greyhound when and if we decide to get a dog. Apparently, once those pups retire, they take it very seriously; the guys I talked to said his dog spend 18 hours a day staked out on the couch. It'll fit right in! Posted by Picasa

Luna, in repose ...

I'm trying to decide if she looks cute, or evil. ... Posted by Picasa

Yeeessssss ?????

Just cause he's so cute covered in ice cream (fat-free frozen yogurt actually. You'd think it was lame, but man oh man, it's like haagan daz, I swear. YUM) Posted by Picasa

There's some serious coaching going on here ... see above ... Posted by Picasa

And I'll tell you another thing, mister ...

Speaking of pontificating ... Posted by Picasa

Gorgeous girl Maggie.

We're hoping that she or her sister might consider Sevvie as a suitor later in life ... he'd do worse that to have her units as in-laws, that's for damn sure. Posted by Picasa

Grayson and his brother, the destroyer.

see?

Chillin' like villians

Grayson (left), Mags (middle) and Dan (right) make it look positively balmy don't they?

Wrong. Posted by Picasa

I am so cold ... this sucks.

Stupid hay.

Sevvie and his posse

Maggie's in the foreground, checkin' out something important. Daisy, facing away from the camera, is listening to Sev pontificate and the little dude in the corner is gonna jack them all ...

This is Family Day. Posted by Picasa

Family Day again ...

We decided, despite the frigid temperature, to brave Sir Winston Churchill square for Alberta's annual excuse for a February day off ... the wonderful FAMILY DAY holiday.

Luckily, we met up with our pals Dan, Lisa, Maggie and Daisy en route so we hung out with them. (I'll try and identify them in captions, but they're twins and awfully bundled up ...)

Anyway, Sevvie stole the show (and some balls, and a hockey stick or two) but all in all, fun was had ...

Happy freakin' family day, wherever you are. Posted by Picasa
