We got a new camera!

Hi everybody!

Last week we got ourselves a fancy new camera so that we can keep up to this little wreckin' ball. It's a Nikon D50 and it's super cool!

As you can see, the faster lens allowed me to freeze the action at the ice festival in Old Strathcona yesterday;

Sevryn seems to be some kind of Julian (Trailer Park Boys) of the toddler set, never letting anything he does interfere with his ability to eat donuts.

He's still got a little piece of it in his mitten...

Then later, once he was finished with the donut, he needed to navigate the treacherous Ice Maze - which he did easily.

Heck, he did it with his eyes half closed even.

Next time, hopefully there will be some sunshine and pictures will be a little brighter. So far though, the camera is excellent!

I just wanna let you know that Clancy loves reading to me! I may seem unimpressed, but that's only because I was enjoying a private moment with my favorite-uncle-of-the-moment. Thanks mum, thanks a lot.

My brother got a rawkin' ipod Nano shuffle from Santa and all I got was a stupid wooden truck. But that's ok; I have my baby turtles, whom I love more than anything (expect balls. And Pooh. And 'Po. Nevermind.)

He doesn't look very impressed though, does he? Perhaps next year Santa won't go to so much effort to try and satisfy his every whim and wish ... my mum said to write that. ... it sounds ominious. Somebody warn Grayson, ok?

These are my uncles. Manny, hiding in the corner, is eating rice. I can't guarantee this is Christmas morning, although Manny is often seen at odd times eating rice out of a saucepan. In fact, I'd say it's his second-favorite habit.

Clancy, on the other hand, is hard to miss. He's funny. And loud. And funny. We bought him a old-skool racetrack. He wouldn't let me break it. Maybe next time ...

Santa's birthday!!!

Last year my mum woke me up pretty early and I wasn't too impressed. This year I waited for her to get up (man, has she gotten lazy in her old age!) but I think I got more stuff. Santa was REALLY good to me and my brother; I guess we should keep doing what we did last year ... y'know, kicking, hitting, general pummeling ... and screaming! Don't forget the screaming!!!

Even though Santa left me a stocking I had to help Dad with his, 'cause he got a lot more chocolate than me!!!

Me and my all-time favorite dad.

Bryn, how are thou forsaken me? Moving to the mountains climes of crankbrook ... I mean cranbrook ....

You'd better come back and visit me, and yer other best friend, Sasha ....

Mine!!!!!

Upppp .... annndddd .... ouch!

I LOVE it!!! How did you know balls are my abosolute FAVORITE??? You know me so well. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for the basketball hoop and ball.

Birthday Number TWO!!!

Sevvie would like to thank all his fans, cohorts and partners-in-crime *you know who you are* for showin' up and gettin' down with the Big ol' two-year-old.

To his posse: "Bryn, Rhys, Tia, G-money, Sashie (yo!) and Tess ... you rawk! Maggie and Daisy, catch ya on the flipside mamas!"

Happy Freaking 2007!!!

We officially wish you a very very merry ho ho ho and a happy 2007 from here in Edmonton. The last month has been very good to us (particularly the small dictator) and we hope that, during this (now past) holiday season, you ate, drank and were merry all over yourself.

We're going to try and keep some semblance of order to the following posts, but know this: it's not gonna be easy as, once again, we've fallen down on our posting duties.

Deal with it.

Seriously, though, we have yet to see any photos from Jesse and Shannan's wedding, so will be posting those completely indescriminately as they arrive.

Kisses and love,

the Frevanills ... *ha!*
